MAX 2005 – VitalStream Supports Macromedia's New Flash Media Server 2

President & COO Phil Kaplan Talks With SYS-CON.TV As Company Launches Its Next-Generation Streaming Service for Flash Video

"Over the last couple of years, we've seen rapid customer adoption of Flash Video streaming, proving that Flash is a competitive platform," Philip N. Kaplan (pictured), president and chief operating officer of VitalStream, told SYS-CON.TV host Jeremy Geelan in an exclusive interview at MAX 2005 in Anaheim, CA, yesterday.

"Our latest product only strengthens our position as the industry leader in Flash Video streaming, delivering top-notch streaming video quality and workflow management control," Kaplan continued.

The interview took place as it was announced that VitalStream's Media Console, its workflow management toolset, now integrates with all streaming formats including the new Flash 8, and includes a media manager, pre-built video skins and a real-time reporting dashboard.

VitaklStream, a Macromedia-certified partner, continues to offer ground-breaking capabilities for delivering streaming Flash Video, Kaplan explained.

To accelerate its customers' Flash application development, he said, VitalStream provides the MediaOps software development kit - a library of Flash software and Flash-developed objects that enable developers to quickly and easily implement their Flash projects.
