Captivate was recognized for its ability to enable users to rapidly create professional-quality, interactive simulations and software demonstrations. A total of 210 entries representing 16 countries were submitted, and the entries were evaluated by independent judges with expertise in instructional design and learning technology from 47 countries around the world.
Breeze was honored by Brandon Hall Research for the product's Universal Content Packager, which enables content creators to publish their content once on any LMS, regardless of AICC, SCORM 1.2, or SCORM 2004. This solution ensures learning content remains compatible with future LMS system upgrades, and eliminates the need to republish existing content to the new standard.
"These awards reflect our continued commitment to transform the e-learning industry with solutions that empower trainers, developers, and instructional designers to rapidly create and deliver effective, compelling, and memorable learning experiences," said Tom Hale, general manager, Macromedia.
